When we open an application there are two modes:
- Run as administrator
Both are used to open/launch an application. “Run as administrator” mode tells to the computer that the program is safe and going to use “Administrator” privilege.
Generally, the application which uses the system hardware resources or other system related privileges, are opened in Administrator mode.
How to open an application in “Administrator” mode?
A simple way that we use to run any application as “run as administrator”.
- Right click on the application’s icon
- Go to the ‘Run as administrator”

When we click on the “Run as administrator” it will pop up “User Account Control”, click on “Yes” and the application will be opened in “Administrator mode”’.
But, if we want to launch any application as “Run as administrator” without “right click – run as administrator”, we can do it.
In this article, I am going to discuss, how can you launch any application as “run as administrator” by default.
For the first time, right click on the application’s icon.
Then, go to the properties.
Click on the “Advanced” button.
And check the button “Run as administrator” and save.
Now, whenever you will open any application by simply clicking on it will always launch as “run as administrator”.
